1982 Maxon (Ibanez) AD100 Analog Delay MN3005 BBD w/power adapter (SOLD 1/25/26)

Hi, You are checking out a nice Maxon Ad100 analog delay. The same unit as the Ibanez Ad100. This one is from 1982 going by the codes found on the old capacitors. It’s in great shape for a 44yr old unit. Like everything else that comes into the shop, this delay was fully cleaned and serviced. All the capacitors were replaced to give this unit a new lease on life. The pcb board was cleaned of all the old flux as well to tidy it up. The jacks and pots were sprayed with cleaner and cleaned. Exterior was cleaned and the metal case was waxed up to remove paint oxidation and make it look nice. The bag of old capacitors is included and sent with the unit to do with as you wish. I will also include a new travel power adapter to bring the voltage down to 100v when used in North America.

This old analog delay uses the mn3005 bucket brigade chip for the delay effect and it has a bunch of the famous JRC 4558d chips in it as well. It sounds great. It is currently setup up to oscillate some when the repeat delay is set low. There is a clearly labeled adjustable potentiometer on the board you can use to make it oscillate more or less to your taste if necessary. It’s a simple and fun little unit!
