This old Ace Tone mixer was taken apart and completely cleaned and detailed. It needed a little work to make it nice. I replaced a paper in oil cap on the incoming power as standard practice since they are notorious for leaking voltage. I cleaned and lubed all the pots and faders and cleaned all the jacks with DeOxit. I wired the unit for 117v. I glued a plastic chrome strip on the lower front back in place with contact adhesive. I put a lot of work into cleaning and fixing this guy up and it shows. This old mixer looks great! The reverb and tone knobs both have a chip on the top edge. Those both as well as the volume knob have some fading on the painted aluminum top hat. It has a few chips in the paint on some of the edges. The tolex is in amazing condition. All the channels and faders work as expected. It’s very quiet and only hisses a little if the channel volume is maxed out and you set the master volume past 8. It has a nice dual spring reverb. I made a quick video or just some basic tests and functionality.
