1975 Ace Tone BASS-9 (B-9A) 70w rms bass amp with fuzz #4

I love these Ace Tone bass amps with their cool styling and built in fuzz channel. According to the specs this is a 70w RMS bass amp. These amps are built very well and I like them so much I have four of them to restore! Below is a list of what was done to this one. Check out the restoration gallery for lots of pics showing what I did to it.

  • Amp cleaned and detailed inside and out
  • All electrolytic capacitors replaced
  • Potentiometers and jacks cleaned with De-Oxit
  • New heatsink paste installed on transistors
  • Removed death cap and installed a long 3-prong power cord.
  • Voltage selector plug set to 117v for North America
