1973 Shin-Ei Companion VA-603 45w vocal amp

At first glance, it might look like the famous Psychedelic machine of the time but this is a completely different animal! It would make a perfect pairing with one though as the aesthetics are the same. This rare 1973 shin-Ei solid state amp showed up in working shape but pretty dirty. It needed a makeover and fresh capacitors to bring out it’s best so it got it! I kept the original main filter capacitor shell and stuffed it with a new one to keep the looks and the original date code which i used to date the machine to 1973. It runs off 100v so it will need an inexpensive transformer to safely run off the north american 120v standard. It cleaned up pretty nice after a bit of tlc and elbow grease. It’s looking awesome now. It’s a clean vocal amp with 4 inputs, mild reverb and an effects loop with a volume adjustment. All the original parts I removed will be included with it. Check out the restoration gallery for all the cleaning and before pics!
